Answer: Yes! In fact, we encourage it. All of our games can be tried before you buy and you can check out the wallpapers and ringtones on the site as well -- simply click on the listen or view icon next to the product.

Question: How do I download and play a free trial version of a game?
Answer:

Question: How long does the trial period last?
Answer: Almost every game has a free trial period. You can download and play a game on your phone for up to five minutes. Once the trial period is finished, you must purchase the game to continue playing.

Question: How do I buy a product for my cell phone?
Answer: Buying a product on BustedThumbs is an easy process; and we work with most of the major carriers and cell phones. Once you find a product you would like to purchase, click on the BUY button next to the product and you’ll be sent to the checkout page. Enter your cell phone number and carrier and click Buy. In a matter of moments you’ll receive a text message on your cell phone with further directions.

Question: How do I pay for the products or service?
Answer: The process could not be any easier. Once you have selected a product to purchase, and you’ve entered your cell phone number, BustedThumbs will send you a confirmation text message to your cell phone. Once you have confirmed the purchase, the charge will be added to your next months cell phone statement.

How to Receive (Download) your Games, Wallpapers or Ringtones

Question: How do I download?
Answer: To download Games, Wallpapers or Ringtones you must use the wireless Internet connection on your cell phone. While each cell phone model may require a slightly different approach to download content, the basic steps for downloading are as follows:

After you make a purchase with BustedThumbs, you will receive a text message to your cell phone. In that message, you will see a URL specially designed for your phone. You will need to open this URL using the wireless Internet connection on your cell phone (M-Mode, MEdia Net, Sprint PCS Vision, or T-Zones). To open the URL from the text message, choose "Options" or "Menu" whichever your phone uses. If you see the option "Go" or "GoTO" on the screen, click that and skip the next four steps.
Select "Extract" or "Use Detail" or "Save Address".
You may be asked whether you want to extract a "Phone Number," "E-mail Address" or "Web Address." Select "Web Address."
You should see a single URL in a list of web addresses. Select that.
If you see "Options" select that, and then select "Go To" or "Go."
Your wireless Internet connection should now be open to the URL where you can download your BustedThumbs content. You should see some text about your new ringtone or background and a link to download. Select the item(s) to download and then follow any additional prompts your phone gives you. Some phones may do this automatically, in which case when you view your message you can select the web address. Then, you'll see a page with a download link and some text about your content. Complete the download and save to your phone. Some phones will let you save the item and then select it for use right away. Other phones will require you to look up the item in your Ringtone and Wallpaper folder, and then select it for use, or "Apply" it. Most phones will let you "Apply" the item right away.

AT&T (Cingular)
If you're a AT&T (Cingular) Wireless subscriber, you will need an Internet enabled Phone to download our products. Not all AT&T phones are Internet enabled. Sprint
If you're a Sprint PCS subscriber, you will need a Vision Phone to download our products. Not all Sprint phones are Vision phones. If you don't know if your phone is Vision enabled, call Sprint PCS at 1-888-253-1315 or visit them online at http://www.sprint.com Back to the Top

T-Mobile
If you're a T-Mobile subscriber, you must have T-Zones available & enabled on your phone to download our products. Not all T-Mobile phones come with T-Zones. If you don't know if your phone has T-Zones, call T-Mobile at 1-800-TMOBILE or visit them online at http://www.tmobile.com

Verizon
If you are a Verizon customer you must have PIX Message capable phones. However, Internet enabled phones are not required.

Question: How is the content downloaded to my phone?
Answer: For Cingular, Sprint, and T-Mobile users, content is sent to your mobile phone via a WAP link or MMS message, which basically means we send you a text message with a link. By clicking on the link, you download the content straight from BustedThumbs to your mobile phone.

For Verizon Wireless users, content is sent to your mobile phone via PIX Messaging. You must have a PIX Message capable phone, although an Internet Enabled phone is not required. Please note - You must save the content to your phone; otherwise, it will be deleted when you erase the message from your InBox.

Question: How do you send me the products I order from BustedThumbs?
Answer: BustedThumbs content is sent to your cell phone using an SMS or WAP Push message. In the message you will receive a link that allows you to download your products.

Question: Do I need to have text-messaging enabled to use BustedThumbs?
Answer: Yes, you must have text-messaging enabled on your cell phone to use the service. If your mobile service plan doesn't include text-messaging, please contact your mobile service provider and enable it.

For Verizon Wireless, you must have PIX Message capable phones. However, Internet enabled phones are not required.

Answer: Depending upon the network traffic, it can take several seconds up to several minutes to receive your product.

Answer: Yes. In order to successfully download ringtones and color wallpapers, your phone will need to be able to connect to the Web. If you're not sure that you have this feature, contact your carrier's Customer Support for more information.

Answer: You received the download link and you can't download in WAP?
WAP might not be set up correctly on your phone. Please ask your phone provider how to adjust your settings

Answer: Ringtones and wallpapers will work on most phones. Not all games work on every device. Please be sure to check the compatibility list before you make a purchase.
